Sometimes trying so hard to accomplish something will bring pain to those we love. That is what happens when Rebecca Kauffman becomes the guardian to Jessica and Lindsay, her sister’s two teenaged girls in A Gift of Grace by Amy Clipston. Not only have the girls lost both of their parents but they are English. Their world is not only turned upside-down but their ways clash with the Amish. Will everyone find a happy middle ground or will things stay in turmoil?
This book not only was a great read but it really had me thinking about my walk with God and how I listen to him. Each character showed me different perspectives of walking with the Lord. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
