This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Martin and it won't be my last one.  It kept my attention from the first page until the last.  The romance defiantly was sweet as it played out.  Hope there is a second book on Viv.  Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to find a new author.

Bringing Maggie Home - Review

WOW! This book reiterates second changes.  Three women from three different generations in one family learn of tragedy and they all together through it. From the first sentence to the last page it kept my interest.  I cried, laughed and cheered them on.  Can't wait to see what Kim writes next.

A Dangerous Legacy - Review

Loved this story of Eloise and revisiting others from this series.  Elizabeth Camden is an author that I have put on my list of authors to read because she can write a story and make you feel as you you are characters in her books. I'm sad that Emma's story is the last in this wonderful series but I know that whatever this extra-ordinary author writes next will be worth reading.  This can be read as a stand alone book but if you have not read the others from the Empire State series I highly recommend them.  They are A Dangerous Legacy where you will be introduced to Lucy Drake, and A Daring Venture where you will be introduced to Rosalind Werner.

Beneath the Summer Sun - Review

Jennie gets a second chance at love.  This was such an interesting story that I found myself becoming a friend of Jennie and her children.  Kelly's writing style has a way of getting the reader involved.  If you like Amish fiction i highly recommend this book.

To Wager Her Heart - Review

Always enjoy Tamera Alexander's books and this one was no different.  This was a wonderful read but it was sad reading it as I know this series was over.   There are so many things about this book I liked.  Getting together with old friends, the music and of course the love story that played out between Alexander and Sylas were just a few things that I enjoyed.  With all of her books I  feel as if I am right there with the characters going through their everyday life.  Her books is filled with a faith that surpasses really dark situations.  I do believe that Tamera has also been put here for such a time as this. I can't wait to read more from her and would love to meet her someday.

Any Dream Will Do - Review

Debbie Macomber is a wonderful and gifted author.  All of her books have been fantastic reads.  Any Dream Will Do definitely hit the mark.  From the very first page I knew that this was a different book like any of Debbie's other books but I was so taken with her characters. Shay had the determination to make a better life for herself.  Yes, at times things can and did get in her way but she was able to preserve in the end.  Of course she had a lot of help from a very special man and his family.   Drew was the 3D hands and feet of God.

The Incredible, Powerful, Inspiring & Engaging Story of Women in the Bible - Review

WOW! The title says it all about these women.  I have heard about these women ever since I became a Christian    What do women like Hannah, Sarah, Abigail  and even Eve have in common?  Their love for Christ.  Even though you live in this world with Christ by your side there isn't anything that can't be accomplished.  Just being reminded of this should make you feel loved.  This is the first book that I have ever read by this author but I'm looking forward to others.

Playing by Heart - Review

Lulu has put herself on the back burner to help her sister and her family after an unfortunate accident. She becomes a music teacher and a basketball coach where she meets Chet. I enjoyed seeing a glimpse of history in Lulu and Chet's story and seeing some tense but wonderful moments between them. 

This book has been on my TBR shelf for awhile now but am I glad that I have taken it of the shelf and have now read it. Anne Mateer is a new author to me and one that I will continue to read. I enjoyed Anne's writing style in this book.

Review: A Matter of Trust

A Matter of Trust by Susan May Warren
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another book of the Montana Rescue series that has intrigue and romance woven together at just the right blend. Having read Susan's other books in the series it was great at getting to know Gage better. Ella Blair is searching for her brother who has gone missing. Her and Gage's relationship isn't conductive to being cooped up with each other. so to say the least, there are some very interesting and tense moments during the search.  I can not wait until the next book of this series.

The Paris Spy - Review

Where is the missing British spy?  In this wonderful addition to her Maggie Hope Mystery series Maggie will continue to be the sleuth that can find everything that she sets out to find.  There are many different complex and exciting people in this story.  There is a cliff hanger at the end and I can't want to see where the next book goes.

It is written during WWII times and Susan has done a great job of researching for this book, as in all of the others I'm sure.  This is the first book of this series that I have read by this author so I am looking forward to see where she begins her adventures.

A Note Yet Unsung - Review

Rebakah Carrington is a woman before her time in history. She so wants to be in the Nashville Philharmonic but she must wait. While she is waiting Rebakah shows love and, I think, humbleness to everyone that she encounters even though she is strong. This is the third book of Tamera Alexander's "Belmont Mansion" series and it was hard for me to read because I knew that but I love music and it was my favorite. And oh, what I would give for a man like Tate.

I read this book but I also listened to it on Audible. Thank you to NetGalley for giving me an opportunity to give a fair and honest review.

Love and mystery are what Nora Roberts does best.  Come Sundown is another wonderful book by this talented author.  This is a story about family and what they go through while owning a dude ranch in Montana.  You will cry and laugh as I did reading this story.  Would love to see a sequel.

Last One Home - Review

Cassie Carter lives in Seattle, with her daughter Aimee, and is slowly picking up the pieces of a bad past.  It has been years but she finally feels as if her life is improving and is learning to enjoy life.  She is working at a hair salon and is also working extra hours on a house that she and her daughter will be moving into thanks to Habitat for Humanity.   Cassie is also beginning to repair the lost relationship between her two sisters, Karen and Nicole.  Steve Brody walks into this story, not as a knight in shining armor, but as a friend that Cassie can talk with about all of the different issues that is bothering her.  Perfect amount of romance among a beautiful story of grace.

This is not the typical romance novel by Debbie Macomber, but it is a story of love lost and love found.  It is a story of learning to forgive and to trust in others.  It is also a story of second chances and how easy it sounds but how hard it actually is to accomplish.  God must play a part in your life to accomplish all of this.  This story hit very close to home for me so I feel as if this was one of Debbie Macomber’s better books.  She dealt with the issue of abuse with a realistic view of the trust issues that are involved.  This is a stand-along book, but I hope that we will see more of these wonderful characters.
