Moses Zimmerman has been appointed by his grandparents to show newcommer Lia Shetler around town. Unbeknowst to Lia, Moses' grandparents have decided that he should marry and she is the girl that would be the perfect catch.
Lia and Moses both have their own issues and they do become friends. Will friendship be enough for them or will true love win out?
I have enjoyed all of Jennifer Beckstrand's books that I have read but I believe Jennifer has found her calling in this series. This book is about two people who think because they are different they are not lovable.
Huckleberry Hill is the first book in Jennifer's, The Matchmakers of Huckleberry Hill series. I can't wait to read the next one in the series and to get to know the rest of the family.
This book was given to me by NetGalley for an honest review.

A Beauty So Rare
Eleanor Braddock may be crazy but she wants to keep a dying soldier's last wish. Building a home for destitute widows and fatherless children is not an easy task but Eleanor's heart will never be the same. Will she find help from Archduke Marcus Gottfried in fullfilling her dreams? Will she meet with opposition with every turn?
Once agin Tamera Alexander has brought us a book that is filled with history and romance at every turn. A Beauty So Rare is her second book in The Belmont Mansion Series. Although this can be read as a stand-along book chracters from her first book in the series, A Lating Impression, makes some small appearances here. I'm not sure if I can wait for the next one but I will. Looking forward to another wonderful book.
This book was given to me by NetGalley and Bethany House in exchange for an honest review.

Dangerous Passage
Avery North is brought in on two unidentifiable murders and
connects them together. What become of
these two women that links them together?
Jackson Bryant is a medical examiner that helps Avery to
uncover the reason that these young women died.
Will Avery and Jackson be able to separate their romance
from the needs of this case? The
surprises may make you look at things differently.
Lisa Harris has dealt with an issue that is common in
today’s culture and has done a good job with a tough storyline. This is the first book of Lisa’s new
Southern Series. I can’t wait to read
the next book.
This was given to me by NetGalley and the publishers for my
honest opinion.

Love Still Stands
Love Still Stands
is the first book of Kelly Irvin’s new series, The New Hope Amish. Bethel Graber and her sister Leah and family
have moved to New Hope, Missouri, along with a few other families and are
eagerly ready to begin a new community of Amish. They are not exactly greeted
with open arms from the town’s people.
This town does not want newcomers, especially if they are different to
come into their town and change their way of life.
Bethel feels as if she is useless in helping out with
everyday chores because of an accident that has left her on crutches. She talks her uncle into allowing her to go
into town for physical therapy. There she
is met with hostility from everyone except Shawn who is also there for physical
therapy and seems to have a crush on her.
Will she and Shawn be able to be together?
Elijah is a friend from home that is in love with Bethel but
she feels that she is not capable of being loved in her present condition. Will she eventually realize that she and
Elijah were meant to be together?
Will the town of New Hope ever accept Bethel and her family
for who they are?
I loved this story.
It was a different kind of story that I have read on the Amish
before. Kelly wove the characters together
and brought them alive for me. She
covers so many difficulties in today’s world, prejudice, depression,
loneliness. I like the town of New Hope
because it brings new hope to this wonderful group of people.

Harvest House Publishers in exchange for an honest review.
